What you'll do

• Provide technical rescue standby for customer projects, including confined-space and technical-rope rescue, first aid, and CPR
• assist with hazard assessments, rescue preplans, safety analyses, hazard controls, contingency plans, and equipment readiness
• conduct customer and worker briefings
• monitor job conditions and equipment
• complete daily Incident Command System reports
• respond to accidents by locating and assessing patients, preparing them for extrication, removing them from danger, and turning them over to EMS
• inspect, clean, maintain, inventory, and document rescue equipment. May supervise rescue technicians and may conduct air-quality monitoring.
