The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner role is onsite in Middle Island, NY, with annual compensation of $130,000–$210,000. The position is with Groth Pain & Spine, a multidisciplinary pain management practice on Long Island. The nurse practitioner evaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic, and post-surgical pain, developing individualized plans and coordinating multimodal care. The role works alongside pain management physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide whole-patient care; travel between multiple practice locations is required.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic pain conditions
• perform physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
• administer trigger point, Botox, and joint injections
• prescribe medications and coordinate multimodal treatment, including therapy, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive interventions
• facilitate referrals and coordinate care with physicians and specialists
• build patient relationships throughout care.
