Robotics Simulation Engineer

The Robotics Simulation Engineer role is onsite five days per week in San Francisco, CA. Base salary is $150,000–$300,000 per year, depending on experience; a competitive equity package and relocation assistance are also noted. The engineer will support a confidential, fast-growing AI company developing robotics simulation systems and synthetic data solutions. The role builds high-fidelity virtual environments and data-generation capabilities used to train next-generation robots. By developing simulation infrastructure and modeling robot physics and interactions, the engineer helps AI researchers and robotics engineers improve simulation quality and performance.

What you'll do

• Build high-fidelity robotics simulations and 3D digital assets using Blender and Python
• generate synthetic training data for robotics and embodied AI
• develop simulation infrastructure, environments, and automated data-generation pipelines
• model robot dynamics, physics, and interactions for humanoid robots, manipulators, and robotic arms
• improve workflows for creating, running, and evaluating virtual environments
• collaborate with AI researchers and robotics engineers.
