General Surgeon — Wound Care

The General Surgeon — Wound Care role is onsite in North Kingstown, RI, with a listed salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. The physician conducts weekly wound rounds and treats patients at post-acute care facilities, using wound-care modalities and a wound-specific electronic medical record. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship support clinical practice development.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
• conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities
• visit two to three facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day
• document care in real time using the wound-specific EMR
• complete onboarding training and the wound care fellowship
• maintain an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
