Group Exercise Instructor

The Group Exercise Instructor role is an onsite, part-time position in Hyde Park, MA. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. The instructor reports to the Health and Wellness Director and supports YMCA members through group fitness classes.

What you'll do

• Lead safe, enjoyable, educational group exercise classes for varied skill and fitness levels
• adapt instruction to participants' abilities, health, and cultural needs
• answer questions and support members' wellness goals. Build relationships and community, maintain attendance records in the online Group Exercise Management software, follow YMCA policies, respond to emergencies, and resolve member issues professionally.

Why this role
