The Diesel Mechanic - C Tech role is an onsite position located in Roseboro, NC. This role supports the GFL Environmental fleet maintenance department, assisting in the upkeep of diesel and CNG vehicles. The role exists to assist senior mechanics with preventative maintenance and basic repairs to ensure the fleet remains road-ready. The mechanic contributes to the company's mission by supporting sustainable waste management solutions through reliable vehicle maintenance.

What you'll do

• Assist with the inspection of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance including tire, oil and brake changes.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly.
