The Automated Production Technician III role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with pay of $19–$27 per hour. Day and night shifts are available: 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Bausch & Lomb produces contact lenses, and this role supports their manufacturing process. The technician operates automated equipment across contact lens production, inspection, packaging, and sterilization. The role also troubleshoots equipment, performs quality checks, documents production information, and works with production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to support safe, reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Operate automated equipment for contact lens production, inspection, packaging, and sterilization
• troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• document findings and corrective actions
• perform in-process quality inspections
• follow cGMP, FDA, SOP, and quality requirements
• review production data and shift logs
• support preventive maintenance
• train and mentor team members.
