The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Home Care role is onsite in Pleasant Hill, CA, serving patients across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. Interim HealthCare of Walnut Creek describes a locally owned team backed by a national home care company, focused on helping patients remain safely at home. The CNA provides hands-on personal care and daily-living support in patients’ homes, while observing and reporting changes to supervisors. Accurate documentation, infection prevention, and respect for each patient’s rights and dignity help the care team deliver safe, consistent home care.

What you'll do

• Provide bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and skin care
• check and record temperature, pulse, and respirations
• assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• support meal preparation, nutrition, and a clean, safe home environment
• provide medication reminders and perform only tasks assigned in the care plan
• follow infection-prevention practices and respect patient rights and dignity
• document visits and report changes in condition or safety to a supervisor.
