The Private Duty Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Fort Myers, FL, providing care in clients’ homes; compensation is not specified. Complete Home Care’s role supports home health clients and coordinates care with their families, interdisciplinary team, and referring agencies. The nurse assesses and reassesses client needs, develops and updates plans of care, and provides or coordinates nursing interventions to support recovery, maintain function, and prevent illness or relapse. The role also promotes continuity and safety through communication, documentation, case coordination, and clinical direction for other nursing personnel.

What you'll do

• Complete initial and ongoing client assessments, including OASIS, and evaluate nursing needs and care outcomes
• develop, initiate, and revise plans of care
• provide preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
• plan for discharge
• communicate with clients, families, team members, and healthcare professionals
• participate in case conferences
• apply infection-control and universal precautions
• report changes in client condition
• monitor cases for third-party payer requirements
• complete timely documentation
• supervise, teach, and provide clinical direction to LVNs/LPNs and CNAs
• perform assigned on-call responsibilities
• and maintain competency and continuing education.

Why this role

Home health experience is preferred. Requires an accredited Registered Nursing program, a current RN license in applicable states, current CPR, and a valid driver’s license. One year of RN experience in a clinical care setting is required.
