Injection Molding and Assembly Operator

The Injection Molding and Assembly Operator role is onsite in Sparta, TN; compensation is $16.38 per hour for the currently full first shift or $16.88 per hour for the second shift. Metro Services is recruiting for a manufacturing company in Sparta.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate injection-molding machines
• install dies using clamps, bolts, and hand tools
• set machine controls
• load premixed plastic, powders, or pellets into the hopper and start the machine
• operate the machine to form parts
• and trim excess material. Mixing thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments or grinding scrap plastic for reuse may be part of the work.

Why this role

Second shift runs Monday–Thursday, 2:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. First shift is currently full and runs Monday–Thursday, 4:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Injection-molding experience is a plus but not required; high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience are required.
