What you'll do

• Process hospice claims under Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines
• apply appropriate modifiers, including GW when applicable
• review claims for accuracy and completeness
• verify payer information
• research and resolve B9 denials
• document payer communications and resolution activity
• review records to determine whether services relate to a hospice diagnosis
• coordinate supporting documentation
• bill skilled nursing facilities when financially responsible
• maintain audit-ready records and support audits
• collaborate across the revenue cycle.

Why this role
