The Registered Nurse Manager – Residential Services role is onsite in Amityville, NY, with a core schedule of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and flexibility as resident care needs warrant. Salary is $90,000 per year. Catholic Charities of Long Island provides dignified and compassionate care to vulnerable neighbors across Long Island. The manager oversees nursing care across a cluster of group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. The role supports quality, person-centered medical and psychiatric care through supervision, training, audits, treatment-team participation, and clinical coordination.

What you'll do

• Guide, supervise, and evaluate Residence RNs
• communicate with residents, families, and care teams about care issues
• address medical and medication-related issues
• audit nursing functions
• deliver health-related workshops and AMAP training
• participate in treatment teams and maintain documentation
• provide hands-on nursing care and residence supervision when needed
• cross-train to cover other residence clusters
• provide on-call coverage for assigned clusters and in the absence of the RN Supervisor or Nurse Manager.
