Production Assistant — Non-CDL Truck Driver

The Production Assistant — Non-CDL Truck Driver role is onsite in Albany, NY. Pay is $17.50 per hour. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers support rehabilitation programs through the collection and resale of gently used goods, with proceeds supporting people in residence. The driver completes donation pickup and drop-off routes, safely operates and maintains the assigned vehicle, handles goods, and supports the work-therapy program by modeling professional conduct and supervising a truck helper as directed.

What you'll do

• Drive donation pickup and drop-off routes to the warehouse, donation boxes, and donor homes
• inspect and maintain the vehicle
• keep the cab and truck box clean
• maintain route and delivery records
• load and unload goods safely
• assist thrift store personnel with deliveries
• instruct and supervise the truck helper as directed
• report accidents, vehicle issues, and pickup problems.
