The Extended Care Staff – After-School Program role is onsite in Upper Marlboro, MD. Compensation is $17–$23 per hour. The position supports St. Mary of the Assumption School’s extended-day program for the 2026–27 school year. The staff member plans and leads activities while maintaining a safe, structured environment for students. The role also supports learning and homework, communicates with authorized pickup contacts, maintains student and activity records, and prepares and secures program spaces.

What you'll do

• Plan and deliver after-school activities and games
• manage student behavior under school rules
• ensure student safety
• verify authorized parent or guardian pickup
• maintain required records and prepare reports
• prepare classrooms and extended-day spaces
• assist with homework and learning activities
• secure the building after students depart.
