Mobile Diesel Technician

The Mobile Diesel Technician role is an onsite position in North Las Vegas, NV, in the Service department and reports to the Service Manager. Compensation is not specified. The technician supports maintenance and repair of International Motors and IC Bus vehicles at McCandless Truck Center. The role contributes to safe, efficient service operations by preparing for service events, completing and documenting repairs, applying product and repair knowledge, and coordinating with coworkers and customers. It also includes mentoring coworkers and apprentices and supporting customer service.

What you'll do

• Review repair orders and prepare tools and parts for service events
• perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs according to established standards
• document completed work and coordinate handovers and subsequent jobs
• troubleshoot International Truck and IC Bus systems
• maintain product knowledge
• follow safety and compliance requirements
• mentor coworkers and apprentices
• communicate with team members, leadership, and customers.
