Hopscotch Primary Care’s mission is to transform healthcare in rural America and make high-quality primary care accessible. The engineer builds operational and AI-powered software tools that support clinic workflows and care delivery. By working with frontline care teams, product managers, and data and AI platform teams, the role turns operational needs into usable applications and improves how care teams coordinate and serve patients.

What you'll do

• Partner with care teams, operational leaders, and product managers to understand workflows and identify improvements
• design, build, and deploy applications and workflow tools
• use platform capabilities, data, APIs, and AI infrastructure to prototype and productionize solutions
• build intuitive experiences integrated into clinical workflows
• develop AI-enhanced operational tools
• translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions
• iterate based on user feedback and outcomes
• collaborate with Data and AI Platform teams
• contribute to internal tooling and operational technology strategy
• help establish application development practices for healthcare.
