Job overview

The Associate Medical Director, Regulatory Management role is fully remote for eligible U.S. residents, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming, and U.S. territories; occasional travel is required. Base pay is $216,108–$283,642 per year. The role supports Oscar’s Clinical Affairs team and its focus on serving health plan members.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Clinical Policy Compliance team and Clinical Coding Center of Excellence
  • develop clinical regulatory policies, Benefit Interpretation Policies, and operational procedures
  • chair credentialing, peer review, and population health management subcommittees
  • oversee practitioner and facility credentialing
  • partner with network and market management on provider onboarding
  • improve clinical review operations and workflows
  • monitor regulatory changes and translate them into operational updates.
