The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Days and Evenings role is onsite in South Paris, ME, with pay of $22.22–$27.10 per hour. Maine Veterans’ Homes provides resident care in areas that may include memory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living and routine nursing care under individualized care plans. The role works with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support residents’ dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• provide routine nursing care according to care plans and nursing standards
• observe and report changes in residents’ condition
• support independence, preferences, dignity, and safety
• assist with positioning, transfers, and ambulation
• communicate with residents, families, and care teams
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
