What you'll do

• Install and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• work with UPS units and batteries, power distribution units, standby generators and fuel systems, automatic transfer switches, and building and energy management systems
• use electrical testing equipment for diagnostics and preventive maintenance
• read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• recognize potential problems
• obtain a Utah State Journeyman License within the first year of employment.
