The Heavy Forklift Operator role is onsite in Brighton, CO. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The position supports a steel fabrication operation by helping move and organize materials safely and efficiently. As a lead, the operator distributes work assignments, promotes safe practices, and coordinates material handling. The role helps ensure steel products and other materials are received, stored, prepared, and moved to the appropriate shipping or production areas.

What you'll do

• Lead distribution of work assignments and daily activities
• promote safe work practices and quality standards
• operate a forklift and oversee loading and unloading. Move and organize materials between receiving, production, storage, and designated areas
• coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment
• label, tag, pack, assemble, and stage orders
• and assist with receiving cargo.

Why this role

Must be able to move 60-foot to 20-foot tubes and beams onto and off trucks and load flatbeds with steel structures. The posting requests a high school diploma or GED and two years of distribution experience; two years of industry-related experience is preferred. Forklift certification may be required. Work shifts are described as 8 to 12 hours.
