What you'll do

• Lead and develop Produce Buyers
• set expectations and coach team members
• oversee daily organic produce purchasing and inventory levels
• monitor inventory movement, shortages, overstocks, shrink, and aging products
• coordinate with Sales and Operations on demand, promotions, seasonality, and supply
• represent Purchasing across departments
• build grower, shipper, and vendor relationships
• negotiate and evaluate market conditions
• collaborate on department goals
• monitor performance metrics and operational KPIs.
