Hotel Area Director of Sales

The Hotel Area Director of Sales role is onsite in Concord, NC, and pays $75,000–$85,000 per year. The role supports three Marriott-branded properties in Concord and the SpringHill Suites UNCC. What you'll do

• Meet sales productivity and activity goals
• develop and maintain key accounts
• research and solicit new accounts
• conduct sales calls, appointments, tours, and client functions
• assess client needs and follow up
• negotiate room rates and hotel services within approved guidelines
• maintain customer profiles and sales records
• qualify leads
• participate in joint sales calls and revenue management calls
• assist with business plans and rate decisions
• submit weekly and monthly sales reports
• coordinate with hotel departments and community contacts.
