What you'll do

• Monitor and administer LAN, WAN, internet, and core IP network systems
• configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
• test software and firmware updates before deployment
• plan and execute upgrades and patches
• validate redundancy and high availability
• address security vulnerabilities
• maintain device backups
• support break/fix work
• contribute to project quality assurance and quality control
• document systems
• report traffic and performance
• support junior technicians and Tier I teams
• coordinate with engineering and business groups.
