Interventional Radiology Tech PRN at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, TX. This is an onsite position. Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a 280+ bed facility equipped with modern technology. This role performs routine and complex Invasive Vascular and Therapeutic Imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician. The technologist is responsible for processing documentation, assisting physicians, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Performs interventional radiologic procedures (primarily Angiography) under the direction of a physician.
• Assists the physician as required and responsible for processing all documentation.
• Demonstrates competency in all diagnostic, standard and neurological Interventional radiology procedures, procedural scrub, room preparation and setup.
• Follows established standards and practices.
• Competency in assisting with complex Invasive Vascular and Therapeutic Imaging procedures.
• Participates in on-call schedule and must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for neurological cases.
• Holds pressure and places closure devices.
• Operates ultrasound machine.
• Assists in preparation of embolic material.
