What you'll do

• Attend tutor training workshops
• conduct one-to-one and small-group tutoring
• help students develop study habits and skills, work on projects, and prepare for quizzes and tests
• explain concepts and encourage independent thinking
• encourage homework completion
• maintain contact with the Tutoring Center Coordinator
• provide customer service to students and NCMC faculty and staff
• perform record-keeping and resource maintenance
• schedule and conduct online tutoring when requested.
