Press Helper — 1st and 2nd Shift

The Press Helper role is onsite in Houston, TX; compensation is not specified. Uni-Form Components’ manufacturing team produces steel heads using industrial presses, furnaces, and die sets. Working alongside Press Operators, the helper supports setup, pressing, and forming operations while following production instructions and safety procedures. The position offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to develop additional manufacturing skills.

What you'll do

• Assist Press Operators with setup and preparation
• read job cards, prints, and production instructions
• gather and position dies, tooling, and materials
• assist with loading and positioning material
• support furnace operations and material movement
• measure materials and help verify specifications
• operate forklifts and overhead cranes when trained and authorized
• use hand tools
• inspect equipment and report concerns
• maintain an organized work area
• follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• work overtime as production needs require.
