What you'll do

• Counsel clients on Medicaid eligibility, long-term care planning, asset protection, and estate planning
• draft and review wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and trust agreements
• assist with Medicaid applications
• represent clients in administrative hearings and court appeals
• advise on special needs planning and guardianships
• coordinate with clients, financial professionals, and care facilities
• and stay current on New York Medicaid law and policy.
