The Water Resources Engineer role is an onsite, full-time position in Austin, TX. Compensation is not specified. The engineer joins BGE’s Public Works department and supports water resources and public works projects. The role delivers engineering studies and designs for water, wastewater, sewer, paving, and detention facilities, while contributing to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and project design packages. It supports the full project lifecycle from studies through final design.

What you'll do

• Perform engineering assignments
• prepare feasibility studies and designs for water, wastewater, sanitary and storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities
• contribute to hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and pipeline planning
• support plans, specifications, and estimates and final design packages.
