Companion Caregiver

Job overview

The Companion Caregiver role is in person in Old Bridge, NJ, and compensation is $18–$20 per hour. Homewatch CareGivers of Monroe Township–Old Bridge provides personalized care to clients in their homes. The caregiver assists clients with daily activities, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or errands, while observing and reporting changes and documenting services for the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• provide companionship and emotional support
• prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
• perform light housekeeping
• escort clients to appointments, social activities, and errands
• report changes in physical or emotional condition
• document services and communicate with team members
• assist with scheduling and data entry when caregiver work is light
• participate in training.
