CNC Fiber Laser Operator

The CNC Fiber Laser Operator role is an onsite position in Racine, WI, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; occasional overtime may be required. Compensation is not specified. Jensen Metal Products is a family-owned manufacturer of custom sheet metal parts and assemblies, serving the Midwest and international markets. The operator sets up, runs, and maintains CNC fiber laser cutting equipment and automated material handling systems to produce accurate, high-quality sheet metal components. The work supports production schedules and customer specifications through equipment monitoring, inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and safe work practices.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC fiber laser cutting equipment and automated material handling systems
• review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• load, unload, and stage materials
• monitor machine performance and production quality
• conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• troubleshoot machine, material, and quality issues
• perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment inspections
• document production, material usage, and quality results
• communicate status and concerns
• assist other departments as needed
• maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety and quality standards.
