What you'll do

• Audit intake packets and identify new or readmitted patients
• create patient profiles and enter demographic and medical-history information
• verify insurance eligibility and coordination of benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid
• identify prior authorization needs and submit requests
• document account work
• prioritize registrations by urgency and wound-round schedule
• respond to intake inquiries
• add visits to provider daily census in the EMR
• prepare electronic charts
• answer the business office phone line.
