What you'll do

• Review EOBs and ERAs for unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims
• investigate denials and submit appeals, reconsiderations, and corrected claims within payer deadlines
• track and resolve claims outstanding over 45 days
• reconcile held and unbilled vouchers and contractual adjustments
• report recurring denial trends
• coordinate with carriers, practice staff, and internal departments
• document account activity and follow HIPAA and payer requirements.
