The role supports Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation’s nursing team and resident-centered care. The unit manager oversees daily clinical operations for an assigned nursing unit, leads and develops nurses and certified nursing assistants, and helps ensure care plans, treatments, and regulations are followed. The role contributes to quality resident care through clinical oversight, communication, compliance, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
What you'll do
- Provide daily clinical leadership and oversight for an assigned nursing unit
- lead, coach, mentor, and support nurses and CNAs
- monitor resident conditions and communicate changes
- participate in resident assessments and care planning
- ensure physician orders, treatments, medications, and care plans are followed
- promote regulatory and facility-policy compliance
- conduct clinical audits and support quality initiatives
- partner with physicians, residents, families, nursing leadership, therapy, social services, and other team members
- assist with staffing, scheduling, training, orientation, and employee development
- address clinical and operational concerns
- promote infection prevention, resident safety, and quality standards
- foster accountability, teamwork, communication, and resident-centered care.
