The Direct Support Professional — SARC role is onsite in Santa Clara, CA, working in home and community settings. Pay is $17.00–$24.00 per hour. Depending on program needs, experience, and availability, the employee may work as a Personal Attendant or Skills Instructor. The role supports individuals’ health, safety, daily living skills, independence, and participation in their communities.

What you'll do

• As a Personal Attendant, provide person-centered supervision and occasional assistance with daily living activities, supervise medication administration when needed, accompany individuals to appointments, and document observations.
• As a Skills Instructor, teach independent living skills, support routines and community participation, promote safety and self-advocacy, use de-escalation techniques as needed, and complete daily logs and progress notes.
