It also supports patient flow and physician care through exam-room preparation, procedure documentation, and attentive patient service.
What you'll do
- Interview patients to verify information
- record medical history, medications, and visit purpose in the EMR
- assess eye condition
- perform dilation, refraction, pressure checks, and diagnostic tests including visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refractor, and topography
- document visits and procedures
- prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
- measure vital signs as required
- maintain clean, stocked rooms
- comply with HIPAA
- travel to other area locations as needed.
