The Maintenance Mechanic — Manufacturing Equipment role is onsite in Doswell, VA; pay is $20–$26 per hour. GardenCore manufactures lawn and garden consumables and operates manufacturing facilities. The mechanic installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and supports facilities and structures on company property. The role helps keep equipment operating safely and reliably through preventive maintenance, repairs, and collaboration with the team.

What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment and electrical components
• diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• use manuals, blueprints, and parts catalogs
• operate hand and power tools
• inspect drives, motors, and belts
• check fluid levels and replace filters
• perform preventive maintenance
• dismantle equipment to remove defective parts
• support facilities and structures.
