The Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Overnight Shifts role is onsite in Guyton, GA, with pay of $30–$45 per hour. First Day Homecare provides pediatric private duty nursing and other home- and community-based services, with a focus on specialized, family-centered care. The nurse provides skilled care under practitioner orders and the client’s care plan, supporting clients’ safety and well-being through nursing services, monitoring, medication administration, teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric care. The role also coordinates with the client’s care team and documents changes and services.

What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, practitioner orders, and client care plans
• maintain and document orders
• provide personal care, monitoring, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings
• collaborate with the care team
• promote a safe environment
• participate in care coordination and requested agency meetings.
