What you'll do

• Perform quantity take-offs and develop conceptual and preliminary estimates
• prepare cost estimates covering general conditions, site development, and building systems
• collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers
• review design documents for accuracy and constructability
• solicit subcontractor and vendor bids
• maintain vendor relationships
• assist with proposals, planning meetings, scopes, specifications, value engineering, and project turnover
• monitor design documents
• identify risks and maintain historical cost data.
