Electrical Engineer — Water and Wastewater Infrastructure

The Electrical Engineer role is onsite in Baton Rouge, LA. Compensation is $90,000–$140,000 per hour as stated in the posting. The role develops electrical, instrumentation, and controls designs and supports projects through construction and commissioning. It contributes to project delivery by producing compliant technical documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical guidance.

What you'll do

• Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems
• develop electrical construction documents and EI&C drawing packages
• prepare and review engineering calculations
• lead, review, and interpret power system studies
• review P&IDs and control descriptions
• apply applicable electrical and life-safety codes
• support construction through submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field issue assistance
• participate in inspections, start-up, testing, and commissioning
• and provide technical guidance as needed.
