What you'll do

• Complete patient intake and collect health-status data, vital signs, histories, and screenings
• reconcile medical information and document in the EHR
• prepare patients for in-person and virtual visits
• assist with venipuncture, injections, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, specimen collection, CLIA-waived testing, and clinician-requested procedures
• complete applicable ICD-10 and CPT coding
• assist with appointments and referrals
• clean and stock exam rooms
• communicate patient concerns to the care team
• answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain records
• travel to other CCHS sites to cover departmental shortages
• review open lab and radiology orders and support pre-visit planning.
