The role contributes to the hospital’s emergency care by diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and working with the hospital team and customers.

What you'll do

• Answer medical questions by phone
• assess patients and gather histories, vitals, and examination findings
• perform diagnostic measures such as ultrasound, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies
• diagnose conditions and create treatment plans
• communicate options and estimates to customers
• maintain medical records
• perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• provide aftercare and prevention education when appropriate.
