The Direct Support Professional — Home Health Aide role is onsite in Atlanta, GA, with compensation of $13.50–$15 per hour. The professional supports individuals’ health, safety, welfare, and community living needs. The role contributes to individualized support by assisting with daily care, household tasks, community activities, and service plan goals, while reporting progress and concerns to approved contacts.

What you'll do

• Provide bathing, skincare, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transfer assistance
• encourage physical activity
• provide first aid in case of sudden illness or accident
• remind clients about prescribed medications and provide oversight
• supervise and support clients
• prepare meals and wash dishes
• assist with grocery shopping and community activities
• support individual service plan goals
• take vital signs
• participate in establishing and implementing service plans
• report problems and progress to physicians and others as approved.
