Security Officer

The Security Officer role is onsite in Millersburg, OH. Pay is $19 per hour. Safe Harbor Ohio provides restorative care and therapeutic and spiritual services for child survivors of sex trafficking. The officer helps protect residents, staff, visitors, and buildings by patrolling and monitoring the premises, controlling access, responding to alarms and emergencies, and documenting incidents. The role contributes to a safe and healing environment through coordinated security coverage and adherence to Safe Harbor protocols.

What you'll do

• Conduct active patrols and monitor surveillance equipment
• control access points
• respond to distress calls, alarms, and emergencies
• investigate incidents and suspicious activity according to protocols
• write daily activity and irregularity reports
• maintain visitor and medication logs
• inspect people, bags, property, and vehicles
• use restraint techniques, CPR, and first aid when needed.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, a valid Ohio driver's license, and first aid, CPR/BLS, and self-defense certification. Candidates must be at least 21 and pass required background and drug checks.
