Job overview
The Credentialing Specialist works onsite at assigned New York City Health and Hospitals facilities in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. What you'll do
- Manage initial provider credentialing and re-credentialing
- coordinate credential audits, background checks, and verification activities
- support clinical privileging for medical staff, allied health professionals, and other providers
- use MDStaff software to monitor activities
- maintain accurate records and documentation
- apply credentialing policies, procedures, statutes, and laws
- support ongoing compliance.
