Activities Aide

The Activities Aide role is onsite in Athens, OH. Compensation is $13–$17 per hour. The role supports residents at Arlington Pointe Care Center through recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs guided by resident assessments and care plans. The aide helps plan and deliver activities that promote residents’ physical, social, and mental well-being. By involving residents and families in activity planning, coordinating with facility departments, and maintaining safe activity spaces, the role contributes to resident engagement and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating resident programs in accordance with assessments and care plans
• coordinate with facility departments
• participate in community planning related to resident and family needs
• interview residents or family members and involve them in activity planning when possible
• prepare clean and safe activity areas
• schedule movies, plan parties, and provide games and activities
• oversee residents during scheduled activities
• visit residents and assist with crafts and projects
• encourage participation
• follow HIPAA requirements and honor residents’ refusal of treatment requests.
