The Software Integration Engineer II, Kubernetes Platform role is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. Compensation is $130,000–$270,000 per year. Captivation Software’s engineers support a mission to protect the country. The engineer administers, maintains, and supports the Platform-as-a-Service component of the CASA Compute Environment. The work helps maintain reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing Kubernetes clusters for mission and application requirements.

What you'll do

• Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for the PaaS component of the CASA Compute Environment
• support Linux-based Kubernetes clusters
• use Linux CLI tools and Bash/Python scripts
• administer and monitor Kubernetes
• troubleshoot workloads, networking, storage, ingress, and performance
• apply infrastructure-as-code methods with automation tools
• maintain Helm charts
• use monitoring tools and Git.
