Summer Swim Lesson Manager

The Summer Swim Lesson Manager role is onsite in Long Beach, CA, with compensation of $21–$24 per hour. The role supports swim lessons and aquatic programs at Premier Aquatics. The manager coordinates daily lesson operations, supports and mentors instructors, and helps create positive experiences for swimmers and families. The position also teaches lessons, provides in-water support, and oversees Parent and Me and Aqua Aerobics programming as needed.

What you'll do

• Review and confirm daily swim lesson rosters
• communicate program and curriculum goals to families
• serve as an instructor contact during lessons
• teach weekly lessons and provide in-water support
• apply feedback from the Aquatics Facility Manager
• coach instructors
• approve student graduations
• run Parent and Me lessons and Aqua Aerobics programs as needed
• document staff and customer interactions.

Requires previous swim instructor experience and the ability to obtain or maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification. Schedule availability is required Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Professional development and leadership training are highlighted.
