Machine Operator — 2nd Shift

The Machine Operator — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Northwood, OH. Pay is $20 per hour, paid weekly. The role supports a manufacturing team processing metal products to customer specifications. The operator sets up and runs production and material-handling equipment, checks materials and finished products, and records production information to help meet quality and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate production equipment according to work orders
• operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment
• pull, inspect, and verify materials
• process customer orders to written specifications
• measure and inspect finished products
• record measurements and production information
• separate scrap or non-conforming materials
• package finished materials
• perform basic preventive maintenance
• maintain measuring equipment
• report machine and product issues
• maintain a safe work area
• support LEAN and quality initiatives
• and help train employees when needed.
