Gas Utility Technician

The role contributes to dependable energy delivery by responding to service needs, inspecting and maintaining systems, assisting with installations, and following safety and documentation requirements.

What you'll do

• Respond to meter and gas service orders
• read meters
• support troubleshooting and leak investigations
• inspect lines, meters, and appliances
• conduct leak surveys and compliance tasks
• locate lines and perform pressure testing
• assist with system upgrades and pipeline maintenance
• support gas main and service-line construction
• maintain records, equipment, and safety practices
• serve as an on-call emergency responder in the assigned area.
