The Class A Driver role is an onsite position based in Shawnee Mission, KS. The pay for this role is $28.50/hour, supporting the logistics and delivery operations of Bunzl, a global leader in supply chain solutions. This role exists to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while serving as a key ambassador for the company. The driver is responsible for vehicle inspections, cargo management, and maintaining compliance with all safety and traffic regulations.

What you'll do

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.
